On the last Friday of every month, hundreds of people gather at the Yerevan Cascade to dance. No stage, no audience, just Armenians of every age dancing traditional circle dances together, and teaching anyone who wants to learn. This is “Our Dances and Us,” a free open-air gathering that has kept Armenian folk dance a living, everyday tradition.
