A dangerous heat wave is bearing down on our turtle sanctuary and the smallest animals are the ones we are most worried about. Tiny hatchlings can overheat and dehydrate far more quickly than adults, but every animal in our care will be affected if we do not act. As the parched ground crunches beneath our feet, we’re working in the intense heat to cool our animals no matter the species.
