Last part of my Armenian adventures! I visited a memorial of Armenian genocide, learned about Armenian history and figured out why some Armenians still dislike Turkey. Also I went so a mall to feel a little better after the memorial, found some weird grocery store items and headed home to Tbilisi, Georgia.

Human history is page after page of rubbish brainless ghouls doing ghoulish things no wonder MARTIANS ARENT VISITING only cute DEPRESSED RUSSIAN LADYS😍❤🐾🌹AND SHE LOVES THE DOGOS🌹
I am American. The American guy with Armenian heritage you spoke to had no excuse not knowing more about Armenia. I will say Americans in general are very ignorant about geography, in particular former Soviet republics. I visited Armenia in 1999 and now describe it as a fascinating parallel universe.
I from the USA and live 150km North of Chicago in Milwaukee. There are to things people say about me when I'm outside the USA first that my metric is good for an American, also my geography is good for an American. The reason was I was in Serbia and knew Montenegro was a country, Podgorica was it's capital, and Tivat was the place where a lot of people go for Holidays because it's beach destination. For Russians my follow up is that's a big place, so where in Russia are you from. If it's a place I don't know I ask if I where to fly there what airport would I fly to. Serbian friends in Serbia I met at a hostel in Amsterdam I've learned not to talk geopolitics with people from places that the USA isn't on the best terms with.
Because of that event the word genocide was created.
ISN'T SHE THE CUTEST GIRL YOU'VE EVER SEEN? OR IS IT JUST ME?
420. Good number sounds like you spent too much time in Ohio. “ Gigantic.” 🙌
3:15 eternal flame
You didn't find Putin guilty of the Armenian genocide?
Depressed Russian, I haven't seen you in awhile! Where have you been?
thx alena for this interesting insights from that corner of the world that i really do not know
Be proud of your Russian heritage, and the world is lucky President Putin is so patient, while Russia defends its land against NATO , it’s to bad Ukraine got sold out and its land sold to western countries, and now it’s spilling its blood over the billionaires of the west who don’t care about Ukraine, only its resources.
Wonderful Video!! ❤ 😎
Hello Alena! Nice feature! Mr Armenia America didnt seem like the sharpest knife in the drawer…..Respect from the Republic of Ireland! 👍🇮🇪
The Armenians suffered greatly. When we are confronted with tragedies I think of Jesus' warning (Luke 13) of a far greater tragedy that awaits many : "There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answered and said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” NKJV
Please thank your local Svanetians for me, for spices making my precious beef more tasty.
I've loved your vids since you started…

You sound very American 😂
As an American, that guy was an idiot. Having said that, he's emblematic of some unfortunate American tendencies:
* Our mainland only borders 2 countries, and one of them has enough similarities to be a familiar environment to most Americans. Traveling anywhere else requires crossing a body of water, which runs the bill up fast. I only managed to make it to Europe once, because work was paying for the business trip to Geneva. I've also been to the Bahamas once via cruise liner (partly paid for by work, as a Christmas bonus). To date, that's all of my international travel, and that's 2 more trips than the average American. A lot of us, perhaps most of us, don't even have passports.
* While his approach to asking about Russia was rude, I can understand his enthusiasm. News media over here is highly politicized these days, and tends to be highly myopic–that is, it only shows the news from one perspective. With the international traveling limitation, and the single English spoken language, it becomes hard to get first-person perspectives on these things. In fact, that's a big reason I follow you. Your English is indeed excellent, you're insightful, and have a dry sense of humor. I think you strike a meaningful balance on perspective and entertainment. Thank you for that.
* I'm not surprised he didn't realize Georgia was a close-by country. If you were to mention the name "Georgia" here in the 'States, virtually everyone would think you were talking about the US State of Georgia (just north of Florida, in the southeast). A lot of people (maybe most?) only really learn anything about what happens internationally when the news lands in front of them. I bet I could find you someone that's heard the name "Ukraine," but couldn't find it on an unlabeled map, despite all of the news about it over the last few years. Heck, 15 years ago, I probably WAS that person.
* Because we're only bordered by 2 relatively friendly countries, isolated from others by large bodies of water, and limited to myopic media, it has reduced the concept of war in other countries to an abstract for a lot of people here. The lack of interest in anything non-American by a large chunk of our population is a big reason why support for Ukraine hasn't been steady. It's also why a certain tangerine tyrant in our White House has been able to convince everyone tariffs on our trading partners are a good idea. 🙄
Again, none of this is an excuse to be rude or ignorant. I'm not trying to explain anything away. I just think these issues are important for someone on my side of the fence to acknowledge. Since you brought up the asshat in the video, this seemed as good a place as any. I'm hoping, once we pull ourselves out of the ditch we drove ourselves into, we can start to address these fundamental issues. Unfortunately, hope is not a planning tool.
Oh, and if it were up to this American, we absolutely would allow stray dogs to roam freely. Trouble is, there's a large portion of our population that actually hates dogs. People seem to forget they are fundamentally wolves, after all, and need to be approached accordingly.
When Americans refer to "America" in reference to the United States of America … You have to understand the historical context vs the geographical context to the word…. When the United States was still part of the 13 original British colonies in the 1700's the term "America" was used when people migrated to these lands… This has carried over to the same meaning today when Americans make reference to it in this historical context, yes of course America is also a continent geographically, but we are not using it in a geographical context, we are using the term in a very old, 1700's British/colonial context of the word

Some people just have no sense of direction or location. They might be in Berlin and find it surprising that Sweden is a short flight away. Others know where everything is and are surprised that anyone else doesn't.
I wonder if your Armenian-American friend is on his way to find out the hard way about Russian life, as some other Americans have recently.
Dough,honey,nuts = baclava 😮
I love the fact that you are soooo naturally beautiful ❤
Your English is incredibly good!!
Love your crackly voice .
Just curious…. Why “Depressed Russian “
Thank you very much for all of your hard work and amazing information !! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great work!
Stupid American mainstream media doesn't cover this part of the world probably b/c most Americans cannot ID Armenia on the map (or they think Armenia is an alien civilization from Star Trek).
😊
Bravo. Armenia Ararat AA
I used to live in Glendale California, which I heard was the second highest concentration of Armenians in the world. Second to Paris I think? But the Armenians I knew always told me they suffered great genocide and atrocities, but your video was the first I have seen where it was officially memorized. So great video!
It doesn't matter that you are a lesbian. You are still a woman and you would look 100 times better if you put on the some makeup. What's wrong with you girl?
good
White Americans are so cringe, its crazy what going on here in America, they are so stupid when it comes to other ethnicities/nationalities.
Ты красавица! ❤
Great video! Very interesting.
That American sounds like he listens to too much Tucker Carlson.
