WWE 2K26 is set to feature the return of the Attitude Era, with a new trailer revealing the game will include a special Attitude Era edition featuring classic versions of stars from 1997-2002!
The new Attitude Era edition of WWE 2K26 was revealed during Smackdown, with WWE airing a trailer featuring the stars who appear on the cover, including:
– Stone Cold Steve Austin
– The Rock
– Kane
– The Undertaker
– Shawn Michaels
– Triple H
– Kurt Angle
– Chyna
– Trish Stratus
– Lita
– Stephanie McMahon
– The Dudley Boyz
All 13 of the Attitude Era stars are now confirmed for the WWE 2K26 roster, where it’s expected we’ll see younger versions of these stars included as part of a special Attitude Era Bonus DLC Pack.
Potentially offering up clues on what players can expect to see in WWE 2K26, the Attitude Era trailer teases several younger versions of stars, while also appearing to tease the return of the Inferno Match which was listed as a new match type in recent leaks.

Seeing the "Hardcore" tape on the top, we might be getting some hardcore stars in one big match, but which match is doable for the Attitude Era Edition or some matches featuring some Hardcore Championship matches.

Yeah clearly skipping this one! 25 was good in many aspects (My Rise, Showcase, ) but the 24 My GM was miles better, that shared PPV nonsense sucks! Universe Mode was garbage like always. And My Faction and My Island are goddamn unfun, unfair cash grab garbage!

If WWE 2K26 still recycles the same animations as the previous entries and fails to surpass 'PS2’s Here Comes the Pain,' it’s basically just going to be another piece of trash. Is it really that hard to animate Stone Cold’s Stunner so that opponents actually do a backflip sell? Stop reusing the same tired move sets year after year. It’s time to actually put in some effort and build a proper game, 2K!
I heared they're bringing back the i quit match, the inferno match, and more. I want more versions of certain superstars plz give batista his 04 where he had hair he was a beast back then. No stupid toy characters or celebrities taking spots if we want celebrities we can create them. I mean if someone created spongebob in creations we can do celebrities. Please give us more wrestlers. I rather have more versions of superstars than these stupid toys spots and celebrities.
