Warren Buffett released his annual letter ahead of the Berkshire Hathaway Annual meeting. In Buffett’s letter to shareholders, Buffett discusses why he’s not buying stocks, why he’s holding cash, his portfolio, why Berkshire Hathaway is repurchasing shares, and his thoughts on the stock market. Warren Buffett’s letter is closely followed by many value investors. Warren Buffett has added relatively few new stocks to Berkshire Hathaway’s portfolio over the past year. Instead Berkshire Hathaway’s cash position was $144 billion at the end of 2021. This is surprising to many investors that follow Buffett and Berkshire as one key element of Warren Buffett’s investment strategy is to never time the market. Investors will be paying close attention to what Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger have to say at the 2022 Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting.

i wish this video was 5 hours long, was sad when it ended. great video ty
Wow! Marvelous explanation. Especially the example of effect of share buyback min 9:00. Thank you!
Buffett himself has said that retail investors have a significant advantage over Berkshire in picking stocks because the lower amounts of funds create countless more buying opportunities without having to worry about impact cost. Just because Berkshire is unable to effectively deploy 100 billion USD in cash does not mean opportunities aren't out there for the retail investor.
God, you're a rambler!
That would actually be the 2001 annual meeting wouldnt it?
Do you know who the anonymous owner is, that they work for ?
"never time the market" is advice to your average person looking to invest with no knowledge of investing. He's saying buy an index fund and hold it long term. He's always said he won't over pay for a business so it's not true at all that they wouldn't time the market. Also, he's not refusing the buy stocks. They've made quite a few acquisitions since the pandemic but if you compare to the cash pile they're relatively small. They know what they're doing and they deal with completely different obstacles compared to any of us investing
I really enjoy your videos. They are so easy to listen to and follow. One question I have is since Warren and Charlie are such legends and in their 90's, what happens when they pass? I feel like a lot of people invest because they have confidence in them personally. Do see that as a risk? Anyways, keep up the great work. Always look forward to your videos.
Right after you make this video the market rallies 10%! And stocks rallied 30-50%! Haha this is why you never listen to dumb money
King of welfare Warren buffet and his I'll gotten gain's.
Who pays no taxes.
Is this the same Buffet who sold OXY for 13USD and rebuy it at 58ishUSD? No thanks.
Elon Musk admitted that tesla stock was overvalued. Not saying Musk is a genius or better than any other CEO. That's just the first name that popped into my mind when she mentioned CEOs and their opinions of their stock valuations

9:20 if market is overvalued than how does this example make sense? why will one owner sell his house share for less than what it is worth? if he is selling it for less than how is the market overvalued?
Coca-Cola sells poison. It is immoral to sell a products like that. It destroys people's lives, though the medical industry appreciates the new customers.
I’ll do some more investing this year but not until the fed decides what to do with inflation.
