Gold and Silver stand the test of time and have always been a great safe haven in times of financial crisis. I started at the end of April, already have made ~5-6% on my investment since then in both metals. Every week I put a little bit of money into my OneGold account, because it's backed by the blockchain, and I can redeem the physical stuff on a later date. I like bullion better than crypto, just generally because I like being able to physically redeem it once I don't want it to be just numbers on a screen. Just my personal preference, better than any bank account holding monopoly fun bucks.

If you want to buy gold or silver just go to kitco. Not being paid to say this but I have used them before and they are good. No real issues and they have a vault system if you want to keep it there or take ownership. They also have a pool system if you want to buy it on a regular/steady basis. I started with the pool system to check them out. And when 2008 happened had no problem cashing out (liquidation) the funds/gold/silver sitting in the account. Bottom line is gold or silver is a HARD asset that stands against the test of time. Just start somewhere.
