The prices quoted here are rubbish. You can't find an apartment in the centre of Yerevan for $500. It is like $1000 You can't have a 3 course meal for $5. It is $20 in a very average restaurant.
The groceries in Yerevan's supermarkets are the same price as in London. I was there for 2 months in spring, and my grocery bill was the same as London.
My maternal Ottoman Armenian Grandparents immigrated to California, in 1907. I have long considered relocating to Armenia. I'm not even a tech person. Truth is I stay on the San Francisco Peninsula, because I'm well established. I inherited a big house and live alone there. Moving to Armenia is a logistical challenge, as of now.
