There is a peace deal between Azerbaijan and Armenia, after nearly four decades of conflict.
The final stage was brokered by US President Donald Trump in the White House.
Crucial to the deal is a corridor – to connect the main part of Azerbaijan with another part of its territory, which is cut off because it’s on the other side of Armenia.
But how long will it take before the corridor becomes a reality?
And what will Washington’s growing presence in the South Caucasus mean for the region?

What a disgrace of a program, although this is hardly surprising, AJ openly does Turkish and Azeri propaganda, accuses other countries of supporting Israel and rightly so, but doesn't mention that after the US, Turkey and Azerbaijan are the countries with most leverage in Israel, why don't they use it? As for Mammadova, she is clearly a propagandist, not an analyst, she said early in the program that Azeri people are oppressed in Iran, if it is so, why are both Khamenei and Pezeshkian Azeris?
If Iran tries any fancy stuff to block the corridor, the US, Turkiye and Azerbaijan will covertly instigate the Azeris population in Iran territory to rise up and demand Independence… 😊😊😊

I don't think this panel was completely unbiased. I don't think this will balloon peace, deal will, fly. Azerbaijan has to return all POWs, guarantee return of all Armenians to Artsakh, their homeland. Unfortunately, pashinyan is a coward and has vassal mentality has on idea about politics. Armenia needs Russia and Iran more than the US strategically and economically. It is wishful thinking but it really bad deal for Armenia on the long run.
azergayjan first needs to pay for the 120,000 citizens who were expelled off their lands and then they need to promise not to ruin anymore historical sites in Artsakh then let all the people who were expelled to return without any retaliation then Armenia will think about opening those corridors for them…

Regarding the “1o0,000” refugees, please note that, though the actual number is much lower, big portion of these relocated Armenians were Armenia’s military personnel and their families. They simply returned to where they came from.

Why the important issue of Nagorno-Karabakh was not discussed? Azerbaijan committed ethnic cleansing and forced some 150,00 Armenians out of the region by blockading for several months and by force in 2023. Connection between Azerbaijan and Nakhichevan was negotiated in 2020 as part of a deal with similar connection between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. Ethnic cleansing is a crime against humanity under international law. Armenians shall get back their homes and property that was stolen by Azerbaijan. International law shall not be influenced by oil or other considerations.
