Aleppo is one of the most complex and misunderstood cities in Syria. In this episode of Inside Syria, I visit Aleppo for the first time to see what daily life looks like beyond the headlines of war and destruction.
I’m not here to explain Syria’s history or politics. I came as a visitor walking through neighbourhoods shaped by years of conflict and the 2023 earthquake, listening to people’s stories, and observing how life continues in between the damage. From Aleppo’s historic Christian quarter to places still being rebuilt, this video is about quiet moments that rarely make the news.
