Said it before and I'll say it again: The intro format for Victor's podcasts is WAY too long and built more for a TV show than a podcast. I could check out other podcasts in their entirety in the time it takes Victor to GET TO THE POINT.
Hanson might have something important to say, but most often I just move on before he ever lackadaisically gets around to saying it.
Victor is a national treasure. I wish the country could listen to him everyday. He should start a podcast called "the news according to Victor" and recap the daily news in 5 to 10 minute clips…. Essentially a translation of mainstream media
Every society suffers from some form of fraud or corruption. Iran right now has drinking water problems and inflation due to being run by a theocracy instead of a meritocracy. France and other EU countries have socialism strangling the younger generation for the benefit of older voters. GB has London which is the money laundering capital of the world, run by elites who want to replace the native population. Russia has a mafia state. China is a big machine to keep the old CCP in power forever. The US has its issues with DEI cancer that will infest HR department, education, and government for another generation. US also has a predatory capitalistic system that does many things that the government should prohibit if it were operating as the founding fathers and Adam Smith had intended, without the politicians selling out. Apparently it does not take a very large percentage of a population to ruin it for the average citizen.
