Nation to nation or nation to people cbdcs will never work. They are centralized and as such you need trust in whoever is issuing the cbdc. You will never get that level of trust. It has to be decentralized in order to work but all those wishing to retain power will never allow a decentralized crypto. That statement alone proves that the issuer of a centralized currency has no intention of being trustworthy.
