German historian and theologian Adolf von Harnack wrote in 1905: "… there is no doubt that by 190 Christianity was already actively spreading throughout Edessa and the adjacent provinces, and (shortly after 201, perhaps earlier) the royal court adopted the church (i.e. Christianity)" Irfan Shahid wrote that Abgar VIII was the first ruler of a state in the Near East to adopt Christianity.
Interestingly, the fact that Armenia adopted Christianity in 301 is a matter of debate even among Armenian historians themselves. But how did the Armenians become the first Christian nation in the world after all these facts? It is interesting that the Armenians, who refute historical facts with their fabrications, try to reduce the importance of the first adoption of Christianity by the state of Edessa, and make obvious distortions: some historians from Yerevan claim that the adoption of Christianity as a state religion by Osroyena, as they say, "does not count", because supposedly at that time Osroyena was independent, and (perhaps) did not yet have its own statehood.
There is no ancient armenia. There was no armenian state before 1918. All these kingdoms armenians claim were foreign ones. Urartu was a Hurrian dynasty. Orontid, Artaxiad and Arsacid were Iranic dynasties. Stop claiming history of other nations as yours.
The first Christian country was the Kingdom of Osroyene, when Abgar VIII, the king of Osroyene made Christianity the official state religion in 201 AD, not the аrtificiаl state of аrmenia, which was creаted in 1918.

Regarding the question of why the world does not care about "this" conflict, the world does not care about ANY conflict unless the conflict becomes a problem of individuals who are part of that "world" you are asking about. The Ukraine war is a problem for Americans because they are sending "billions of dollars" to Ukraine.
