Misleading. You can't deduct more than 3k from your regular w2 income. But you can carry them forward to offset later capital* gains.

You aren't going to concerned with a wash sale from bags you bought in 2023 or 24 wth.

You aren't "saving" taxes by dumping bags, you simply aren't making money on degenerate coins.
