Why can't you apply for a long term retirement visa from within Thailand if you are a UK citizen? Also why do genuine peaceful law abiding UK or Irish citizens suffer over the ones who break the rules? If a person from a certain country stole from me, it would be silly to count everyone from that country a thief. And unfair!!
Thanks for this video, it was just what I was looking for. But just to be clear, I'm an American and am in Thailand for 60 days visa free and would like to stay for a total of 4 months.
So I was planning to leave after 60 days and go to Laos for 2 weeks (I really want to visit there) would I be able to enter Thailand on another 60 day visa free?

There is a limit on land border entries only two allowed back to back or even only 2 in a 12 month period. But yeah your right there is no official limit on entires by air but there is a fear of rejection and rightfully so with all the noise from immigration on extra scrutiny and enforcement.

Question. I’m planning on coming to Thailand for 87 days from the USA. I can book my round trip for the 87 days. Do I need another cheap flight within the 60 days to satisfy any requirements? Before the 60 days I need immigration to extend for 30 days. (What’s the earliest I can apply for the extension?). Any other advice for this scenario would be much appreciated!
