Silver faces serious supply constraints, and although most people may not realize, it is a very rare metal that should be trading in the triple digits in price, this according to Keith Neumeyer, CEO of First Majestic Silver.
“We’re mining eight to one, so for every one ounce of gold that’s being mined worldwide, we’re only mining eight ounces of silver. Silver is extremely rare and people don’t get it,” Neumeyer told Kitco News on the sidelines of the Denver Gold Forum. “People think silver is in abundance, but it’s not.”

I googled Tesla electric cars and I couldn't find where they used any silver in the production of the cars or batteries.

Just as an FYI Keith: Silver is the greatest conductor, but with solar panels, the silver paste has a lot of other materials especially Silica mixed into it, which degrades the electrical performance. For this reason, copper, of plated, could be a better conductor, and some are looking at it. This doesn't mean that silver could not also be improved if there were efforts made. Just apprising you of the risk if you believe the renewable/solar is the major driver.
Around 9:00 Daniella impresses the heck out of me by knowing that manufacturers in other areas work to run in a "lean" manner. Does she have a business degree or something? She's not just a pretty face, I think! 🙂

there is .01 ounces of silver in a cell phone, so roughly 18 cents. No where close to $5 unless silver goes up to $500 per oz

I've been searching and searching for documents stating how much silver is used in an electric car but can't find anything, has anybody found out the answer?
I think he meant 5 ounces of silver not 5 kilos. Silver is mostly needed for electric circuit and ECUs.

Hey Keith, as smart as you are, you never mention how the markets are rigged, how outraged you are for your investors, try talking about the corruption in the market.
All of the Market CEO's in both metals should be screaming off the rooftops, triple digits, so the real reason I don't invest in the market is the fact that the Feds lie to all of us. 5 to 8 cent drop by the end of the week I have and I buy lots just saying.for me 20 dollar is the end.There is a global slowdown industrial use of silver is dropping fast but investor's are taking the slack.silver's time will come but not for a long while.just stack it's a better bet than fiat.Love from Australia.p.s this girl is so hot.
