Armenia relying on Russia for energy is already a big weak point for them. Even if Putin doesn't flip the switch on their energy, they already run the risk of being left out in the cold. Ukrain keeps striking Russias energy infrastructure, and same thing with the rail roads. I can understand why they would sign a 9billion dollar deal with the US. Thats money they can invest in energy decoupling from Russia. As for selling agriculture to Russia, exactly what money will Russia be using to pay for this agriculture? Right now Russia is running low on funds, and what money they do have is going into the black hole of war.

Armenia could be fast tracked into the EU which could protect them from Turkey "devouring" them. It seems as of now EU membership is projected to be 2035. Armenia can't wait that long.
