In this video, I reveal what stocks and other investments I personally have in my own investment portfolio. At 24 years old, I have built a passive income portfolio that consists of both stocks and real estate. Through building this portfolio, I have learned a ton about investing in stocks, real estate investing, and how to build passive income streams.

May as well just put all of your capital into Burkshire with these investments. All giant great businesses and most of them are in Birkshire, so not sure what the point of owning Burkshire and these individual stocks is. They're all great investments, but they're generally investments for either completely passive investors who invest in the S&P500 or Burkshire, or incredibly rich investors with too much capital to put into smaller businesses with more growth potential, so they're limited to investing into large business. Overall safe and good investments, but they're all kind of redundant to own shares individually when Birkshire is also in the portfolio.

Very well researched video. That is how they are investing now that they have billions to invest. The returns will be good but not excellent. I don’t think Warren Buffett was buying those kinds of stocks when he was 24 years old.

I think your statement of 'it couldn't get simpler than a coffee shop as a business model' is a massive understatement.. Try running a successful cafe and then come back and say it was a simple business model.. 10 percent profit if youre and amazing operator, most go bust… 60 percent in the first 2 years.. How is that a simple business model?? The reason Starbucks is so successful is because people love sugary drinks.. Like coke but with a kick.. Also Starbucks charges a premium price for a completely crap product that costs them very little to purchase, that and the fact that Starbucks put all lease worries, marketing costs, product costs on the franchisee.
Great video by the way, great execution and insights.

Thank you for sharing your portfolio. I really liked this video. I think you should share that Berkshire has large stake in Chevron (1% of its portfolio). I respect Berkshire for the most part, but, to be honest, Chevron is an indefensible investment.

An an European I don't recognize the same value in American companies as Americans and I invest more in European companies. For example I don't know if Starbucks can have the same success in Europe as it has in America, but who knows. Same goes for Apple. To be honest I think their products are way too expensive. But of course America is the largest market in the world and it is a big thing to have dominance there.

I am not familiar with #6 but you paid too much when you bought Costco around the same time that Buffett sold out of it and are only lucky that it has continued to go up from there. That's the only mistake I see (not that you've asked everyone to point out errors).

Awesome video! Thanks for sharing and best luck for the future. Not sure if your "retirement account" is a 401k or IRA but if it's an IRA, wouldn't it potentially be better to use your IRA for purchasing stocks and your brokerage account for the index funds? If you are more likely to sell individual stocks compared to your index funds, the IRA would benefit since you do not have to pay capital gains in an IRA. Thanks!

You seem like a very good investor. You have some really good stocks. I'm especially impressed with your knowledge of apartment buildings and where you should buy them. Have you considered buying into good Syndicators over REITS where you can get better returns along with real tax advantages.
