Khatchig Mouradian is a lecturer at Columbia University specializing in the Middle East, the Ottoman Empire, and the legacies of genocide. A descendant of Armenian genocide survivors and a child of the Lebanese Civil War, his work is deeply personal. In his book The Resistance Network, he uncovers stories of unarmed resistance and humanitarian aid during the Armenian genocide, highlighting the efforts of Armenians, Muslims, Jews, missionaries, and diplomats who saved thousands. Mouradian challenges traditional genocide narratives by centering survivor agency and solidarity, offering a more complete and humanizing approach to genocide education.

That's very integral part of telling the story of such horrific event, what gives hope . When i read history i want to learn about these stories
I'm lucky to be a friend of two armenian Egyptian girls who told me lots of stories about the Armenian community in Egypt which contributed alot to cinema photography and different sorts of arts
