NOTE: The event itinerary has been updated. President Trump on Friday afternoon is welcoming the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan to the White House, as the nations sign a peace deal to end decades of conflict.
Trump is also expected to sign individual bilateral agreements with both nations to boost investment in the U.S. — just a day after his latest tariff rollout went into effect on dozens of trading partners.
Multiple news outlets reported that the agreement between the nations was centered on establishing a transit corridor across the region.
The signing ceremony is scheduled to begin at 3:35 p.m. EDT.
