I was there – see 0:48 – 0:53 – it is a monastery over Khor Virap (means "deep well") village. I saw the pit inside where St. Gregory the Enlightener was imprisoned. He healed the Tiridates III. armenian king (who inprisoned St. Gregory earlier) and he reimbursed armenian nation to christianity. I have many pictures from Armenia and from other european, caucasian and inner asian countries, some of them on facebook. I advance to compare motifs (and the meaning of motifs) of hungarian Santa Corona (holy crown) and the motifs of armenian and georgian ancient churches!
Zoltán, köszönet a sok-sok igényes videóért, amelyek a saját népünk és a különböző más népek értékeinek őszinte tiszteletét üzenik – ez hozzátartozik a régi sajátosan magyar néplélek emberségéhez!
As an Armenian, I can say that the music choice is very accurate. However, I cannot say the same about the choice of instruments: a typical Armenian percussion instrument is the "dhol," and the string instrument should be the "qanon." Nevertheless, many thanks for your interpretation. I always listen to your other works and I love them.
Lovely Armenian folk music! This type of music is from Western Armenia (modern day eastern Turkey), however Western Armenia is virtually empty of Armenians today.
>Very good music greeting from slovakia. at 1:20 what is that relief with this old women, perhaps maria? This picture is sure from old times, when the women wear traditional headscarf, know you from what time is this made?
Arany Zoltan thank you very much!! I can't express my gratitude to you!
I'm Armenian and very proud to hear this music!
Again thank you for not letting the beautiful folk music to be vanished!

Thank you, Arany Zoltan, for this performing, only I like to listen more native performing. I think Armenian music can sound very fine by your style.
