Festival of Sounds portrays a journey of sounds competing for prominence, only to fade into silence. The video uses rich imagery and symbolic costumes to reflect the human desire to stand out, contrasted with the inevitability of impermanence. Set in a blend of surreal visuals and subtle humor, it explores the tension between individuality and the vast, quiet void that ultimately encompasses all.
Originally I wanted to title it “Fart in the field” 🙂
Lyrics:
Once upon a time,
Melodies gathered at the rise of the sun,
To choose the one who outshined everyone.
They all came, from every corner – the well-tuned and those out of key,
Dressed to the teeth, in full attire,
To show the world their spark and fire.
In forests and fields they gathered, where moods turned into art,
Colors swirled like soft whispers, rhythms touched and crushed hearts.
Melodies lept, trembled, and shook,
Echoes of war and love flew in feathers and hooks.
Some sang with sorrow, some with delight,
While others brought forth thunderous might.
Together they spun a great tapestry of tunes,
A kingdom of sound, amidst the vastness of dunes.
They roared, they laughed, they danced, they cried,
Claps and wine rained upon their shrine.
Applause for the rhythms scattered across the land.
“Here’s to the finest rhythm!”
“To the note with the most tender grace.”
“To the best hymn of war and race.”
But even in grandeur, none could decide—
Which melody was the best of the best.
Then a voice rose:
“What about Silence? Shouldn’t it have a turn?
No award is fair until everyone made their run.”
Laughter broke, sharp and loud.
“Silence? It has no rhythm, no tone!” – they said.
“It is in eternal hiding – nowhere to be found!
Let it come forth and show us its worth.”
But silence said nothing. And the crowd held its breath.
Was the long-awaited moment about to be met with death?
Fury and tension started to coil.
The award was no-one’s to take home
Until everyone had shown their talent.
The anxious crowd looked around in search of silence
Who was believed to be hiding somewhere in the field.
They looked around.
Searched for it in every bush,
And under every stone,
But silence was nowhere to be found.
Tired of it all, they gazed onto the horizon.
And they waited.
And they waited.
And they waited.
Then they were nowhere to be found.
They were nowhere to be found.
Nowhere to be found.
But silence was nowhere to be found.
Tired of it all, they gazed onto the horizon.
And they waited.
And they waited.
And they waited.
Then they were nowhere to be found.
Nowhere to be found.

Besides art and music, I think it is appropriate to mention a fact from my life. Spirituality takes up a large space in it. Until 2016, spirituality was a very abstract idea for me. However, after accidentally stumbling upon a video of a yogi and a spiritual teacher named Sadhguru on YouTube, I decided to take a step that had never even occurred to me before – to learn a certain meditation practice and do it every day for my own self-improvement. Like many people, I thought that meditation was not for me because I love to think and have too many thoughts, so I cannot meditate, etc.
The program was called “Inner Engineering”. It teaches a 21-minute meditation, which can also be learned through an online program (it is taught in English and in other languages as well). And I must say that I have never made a more important decision in my 38 years of life. I have been practicing this practice every day for 9 years now, and it has brought great changes in my life – in mental stability, health and other areas. I’ll leave a couple of links below for those interested, so you can study them.

3) A scientific study conducted at Harvard University in USA on the physiological and mental changes observed among those who practice this meditation.

I talking about this here because – I have always created not only because I just wanted to create, but also because there is a desire for it to bring someone an idea that will help them see themselves from a different side, and improve themselves. And in my journey to self-improvement, what I mentioned above, has had and continues to have such an invaluable contribution that it would simply be unacceptable for me not to share it. Art can inspire people, but there are more powerful tools in life. And that is what I wanted to share with you.
