When a country ,family or business goes deeper into debt every yr then neither is financially stable. Debt can destroy a family, business, church and even governments.

If this were the case it wouldn’t be possible for all the wealth to be concentrated among the top 10% of the population and all the debt held by the lower part, which is the case.

Rates should have been raised in 2014, but Obama and his crew wanted the market flying for political expedience. I own several airbnbs, and I'm going to tell you right now that they have ground to a halt and everybody's having the same problem, people don't have the money. The reason why credit card debt is exploding is because people are having to make up the difference with their bills on credit cards. Just in time to ease out of the COVID inflation from the spending, we now have the dedollarization happening which is going to force inflation higher forcing the the Fed to keep rates up.
