I LEARNED SOME THINGS ABOUT PARTICULAR CHEESES FROM YOU, BARBARA, THANK YOU! I have been doing a bit of research on whether or not cheese contains GMO (genetically modified organisms) in the MICROBIAL ENZYMES. I've found that, yes, there is an over 90% chance that there are GMOs in these microbial enzymes in the cheeses that I am eating. And it is NOT listed in the INGREDIENTS LIST on the cheese packaging! This is WHY I stopped eating cheese. I absolutely love cheese and was so disappointed to learn this. Also, all of the cottage cheese that is sold here in British Columbia, Canada has added chemicals, so I don't buy it either! I assume that these chemicals are there to lengthen shelf-life of the product. How can we win?
