Diasporan Geopolitical Analyst Anna Abrahamian in Armenia participating in protests

The Armenian Report spotted Diasporan Geopolitical Analyst, Anna Abrahamian, who is currently in Yerevan participating in the protests against the government.

“The proposals of many experts and political analysts have been accepted, this time the opposition is being implemented, they are on the right path,” Abrahamian, who went to Armenia to take part in the struggle for the preservation of Artsakh’s statehood in Yerevan, rallies and marches, said this in a conversation with The Armenian Report.

“These marches are not inferior to the Velvet Revolution of 2018, which was imported from foreign countries. What works against our self-determination, the territorial integrity of our state, acts against the RA Constitution, acts against the declaration of independence. Our steps are not radical, but legal. Proportionality does not exclude urgent, according to appropriate actions. For example, the demand that before signing a treacherous agreement, before giving consent to Azerbaijan to retain power, this government should respect the RA Constitution, the declaration of independence,” she explained.

According to Abrahamian, the current authorities must take into account the fact that the majority of the Republic of Armenia does not agree to sign anything with the enemy threatening us with a massacre today, it simply means surrendering.

Abrahamian emphasized that Armenians are everywhere, they should demand the removal of these authorities in a united way, according to the law.

“We are everywhere…in Aratsakh and in the Diaspora, our voice must be heard with high, lawful rules. We can achieve everything together,” she said.

Touching upon the issue, whether she is going to close streets in Yerevan with the citizens, to carry out various actions, Abrahamian said, “This is Yerevan, here you are home, where the homeland is waiting for you at night,” she sang a famous tune from Ruben Hakhverdyan’s song “Sa Yerevane”.
