Im so hyped for this game, but its also got me intimidated simply bc I don't think I'll be able to put in the time to fully appreciate this game. I can only play a few hours a week because, you know, life and shit.

I refuse to give in to the hype, this game has big shoes to fill, I'll wait to see how it turns out, but I like that I have almost no expectations about it, fool me a bunch of times, shame on me for keeping buying your games.
wow, thats amazing that they're giving the option to adjust the particle effects – thats the biggest reason why I wasn't interested in this game AT ALL. The particle effects looked so over the top and cartoony to me that I couldn't understand why people were so excited about the game – they made it look like a game for kids. Being able to turn that shit off? Game changer. What a brilliant move from the developers. I'll definitely be buying this game now. Thanks for the heads up!

Not going to lie I took the following Monday of release day off just for this game, I might also take firday and Thursday
if anyone has ever played Black Desert Online, you know Pearl Abyss knows how to make a good looking, open world, combat centric game. idk if the story is going to be great but thinking it "might not deliver" what we have seen in the gameplay already, is not something i believe everyone should be worried about. optimization on anything other than a top tier PC is what i would personally be more worried about.
Anyone know if looting is good in this game?

Wish this was coop so me and the wife could play. Just 2 players or 3 since there are 3 characters, but I get why it's not.
I really hope they make some good GoT mods for this game.
Looks great, but I really don't care about the over-stylized combat. Zooming around too much, triple jumps in mid-air, and so many particles (special fx) to the point you can't see what you're doing…. I can live without all that so long that the more basic combat is polished and well made.
I don't dare hope for alot after the gaming industry has been low for years, but this game feels "home" to me.

Assuming the final product is as good as the previews imply, this game is going to raise the open world bar. Companies like Ubisoft and Bethesda are not going to be able to get by with the same tired product they have been shilling out for years and years. At worst hopefully it inspires them to work harder and actual care about their product and reputation.
So hyped for this one.
