Hilarious and adorable. The fact that I didn’t care about all the scary things that were happening like the unexplainable things that were happening, but once they cucumber came out. It was a rap. It’s funny as a cat person. Because mine would scare herself in the middle of the night. 😂

Doing the cucumber thing to a real cat is extremely traumatizing.
It seems that most folks don't understand cats reacting to cucumbers in fear. It's not the cucumber itself that scares them, it's the fact that something appeared in very close proximity to them without them sensing its arrival, usually when they are eating or drinking – at their most vulnerable moment. Remember, housecats are both predators and prey. When you're prey, and something very close changes like that without you noticing it, you're very likely about to be something's meal. So, the fear reaction.
