Dr. Franklin is one of the most important people in human history.
He was A founding father, NOT THE founding father. I found him to be despicable. Defrauded and bankrupted his competition, hung out in France with Voltaire and Roussea whose stated public goals were to destroy Christianity. Abandoned his family. Typical liberal. A talented BS artist.
Ben Franklin really lived like life was one big experiment. He didn’t wait for permission — he just tried stuff, failed, learned, and kept going.
I met Ben Franklin through the pages of a book when I was a hopeful young man in my 20s. He was not just a role model, but a compass guiding my life. Now, at 40, I still live by the principles he taught — and I’m grateful to be someone others trust and respect. Thank you, sir, the teacher who never knew he changed a life.

By the time this may be read, the DocuDrama featuring Michael Douglas as Benjamin Franklin will have been widely viewed by many. I know it was sponsored by Apple TV, albeit, Im unsure what other services share those productions. It is an eight episode mini series, each episode approximately one hour, so via an eight hour exploration, more detail is available. Depending on time available to viewers, this was a wonderful detailed biography.

Founding father of a country . Nation means race and there's no such thing as the American race or Canadian or Australian or New Zealander. All of the colonized identities are administrative titles that merely designate your address. You are what you are no matter where you live on this Earth your nationality and ethnicity doesn't magically change with your address.
