Օn August 15, we had our famous summer fundraising event, the 10th Annual COAF Summer Soiree, virtually. With your support, we raised over $555,000 for our COVID-19 Relief Fund that will directly benefit the 64 villages we serve in Armenia. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. Nora Farmazyan from the village of Mets Ayrum was given an interesting challenge: to lead the board games club in one of COAF’s Smart Rooms. She used the Armtab tablet, presented to her as a guide to understanding the games, to connect with her peers, and to do other organizational tasks in the club. On October 2, we were delighted to host the 2nd Annual Conference on Advancement of Rural Communities (CARC) 2021 initiated by COAF and co-organized by the Delegation of the EU to Armenia, UNDP Armenia, and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia at the COAF SMART Center.
