These months our team has been working on the front line to raise awareness about COVID-19, provide primary food and supplies like medical gear, hygiene items, and stationary to COAF beneficiaries of the Lori and Shirak regions. Since April 2020, thanks to our partners EU Armenia and the Austrian Development Agency, 1430 socially vulnerable families and 33 beneficiary health facilities have been able to benefit from the exceptional humanitarian aid that will help them in overcoming the pandemic crisis. COAF’s televised/virtual benefit “Moving Mountains” was held on December 5, 2020, in place of the organization’s Annual Holiday Gala in New York City. The event raised over $4.5 million for COAF’s ongoing cutting-edge education, health, social and economic programs in 64 villages, along with its state-of-the-art SMART Center in the Lori region. Proceeds will also be used to build modular homes for displaced families from Artsakh who have found refuge in COAF beneficiary villages in Armenia.
