Loving our Enemies: Very hard in reality but in the context of the scriptures we are to love and to show mercy. To be compassionate and show empathy. We don't allow someone to continue hurting us and that is when we can pray and ask God to help change their heart and to protect us. We seek peace as the scriptures teaches us. Vengeance is His. Not ours. Pray for your enemy. Show mercy. See them as God sees them. It is hard but that is where our faith grows. As the scriptures says….its easy to love those that love you. What is more difficult is to love those that persecute us…that is where our faith (through Him) carries us. Pray for divine guidance and He will give us peace and see us through those difficult times. The Church (Armenian in particular) has failed to help their believers to understand that we must FORGIVE our enemies first…than God can be for us. Vengeance is His, again, not ours. How can we expect to receive His blessings if we continue to hold unforgiveness and hate in our hearts for our enemies. We cannot expect it. Forgive first and then see the Mighty Hand of God at work! Forgiving our enemies is reflecting HIM and His goodness. That is why we must forgive and show mercy…because He is the author of life. Believe Him. Do as He says and then stand back and watch HIS blessings unfold. Glory to God ! (Remember, its a daily walk. We are imperfect and we fail. We repent and the walk gets easier.) Its simple…give your heart to Jesus. Everyday! Then we can face anything – with Him at our side and in our hearts! Why should we forgive? To reflect the goodness and mercy of our Lord !!
I pray that God will protect you both. May God strengthen your spirit, your heart and give you courage. I pray that others will hear with their heart the true message of Christ. It is a personal relationship with Him. Not a church. Not a preacher but our Lord and Savior. When we seek Him with all our heart, He gives us peace beyond understanding. The Word of God comes alive and one can choose to follow Him or turn away. More than anything, Mitch, I pray for the peace of God to envelop you and that all that hear you will see the goodness of God.

I am Armenian not born in Armenia. Living in US . I will share my story !!During Christian church trip I-met many people from Armenia . They were strong believers. They explained their situation that Armenia is surrounded by countries who are rich in oil. They have power to control Armenian land with fake maps . Look what they did to garapagh which was part of Arminia they block it for-nine month no food no medicine . People died of hunger and miscarriage their babies . Finally people gave up and surrendered .
This people were believers.
Our ancestors who lived in Turkey suffered genocide by Ottoman Empire . They were believers.
Azerbeijan is destroying now all the churches and cultural belongings where Armenian lived for centuries .

Armenia must be very Un Christian otherwise how could a traitor like Pashinyan proclaim himsef , a journalist , Jesus Christ and savior and openly betray Armenia and gift Karabakh to Aliyev and now gift Zangezur Corridor to Turks. Armenia is indeed a country where most are Not true believers and we need true return to Belief and Christ. We are supposedly the first Christian country but many people don’t understand the bible at all in Armenia and dont read.
Having met you previously in Armenia not disclosing who you really were, I have one thing to say, it is not to blame the way you opperate that is not my place doing it, but you need to believe in Jesus yourself and most of all you need to trust Jesus and your missianary work yourself. Your work and energy can be more effective if you could do this valuable work in Azerbejan foe example, where people are being trained from childhood to hate their neighbours and hating their neihgbours is not a healthy thing to do, not for them and not for any one else, Armenians have suffered a Genocide, yet they are not hating anyone just living their peaceful lives where ever they are because they believe in Jesus, Son of God and the Saviour. I do not think that this is accidental seeing this broadcast, may be I was meant to give you my honest opinion, if you are doing all these from the goodness of your heart. May be you are in the wrong place spreading the word and if you were where it mattered it would have been much much more blessed by God I believe . You are living in a democratic country right now, saying you love Armenia, you like it there because people are good and trusting they are healthy psychologically, no ill will come to you from them, Jesus said to heal the sick as healthy people do not need treatment.
I appreciate your energy and steadfastness and the good purpose but I should say that you are in the wrong place for your missionary work .As I understand how missionaries work selflessly to bring people to Jesus for salvation. As a matter of fact, I have been preaching the Lord's Word, the Gospel of Salvation, for many years, since the Lord called me to do so-
To Azerbjians, Turks, and Persians, Armenias. Sadly, Azerbjians were mocking Armenias and rejecting Jesus, but that did not stop me. The good news is that many Persians and some Turks are coming to Christ. Perhaps you could also try to preach the Gospel of Salvation to the Azeris. God bless.

Some succeed enormously; others fail miserably. But both groups miss what life is meant to be. Living and working in collaboration with me. When you depend on Me continually, your whole perspective changes. You see miracles happening all around, while others see only natural occurrences and ‘’ coincidences You begin each day with joyful expectation, watching to see what I will do. You accept weakness as a gift from Me, knowing that My Power is most readily at work in consecrated weakness. You keep your plans tentative, knowing that My plans are far superior. You consciously live more and have your being in Me, desiring that I live in you. This is the intimate adventure I offer you. Firstly, all religious people confuse many things, because science and religion have never gone together. Science has long proven the absence of a higher Supernatural power, outside of time and space. Also, any believer, using the fruits of science, such as a mobile phone, a car, household appliances, simply deceives himself. Believers usually do not live a worldly life, but simply live for other people, helping everyone around. And in Armenia in ancient times, as in the Middle Ages, they misunderstood the teachings of Christianity. Many heads of churches taught people lies, not knowing what is written in the original source in the New Testament and not understanding the scriptures. And today, the head of the Armenian Church himself is an unbeliever. In those days, love your enemies, also, if you are hit on the left cheek, turn the right, these verses from the New Testament were understood incorrectly, so the heads of the churches of those times simply destroyed the Armenians themselves, giving the enemies more advantages, because of which the great Armenian commanders and military leaders could not defend the Armenian lands. And over the past 100 years, the problem of Armenia is also that Armenians trust representatives of other countries more than trust their Armenians. For example, trust in Russia for more than 100 years led Armenia to the fact that Armenia was left with practically a small piece of land and many young Armenian lives were lost.

I prayed for Evangelizing of my people for years and The Lord is answering to those prayers by sending to Armenia now, people like you. But seems, still ,they need more. So, now as The Lord Jesus also thought us that " when the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few ,(to also)pray to The Lord of the harvest to send more laborers …", so more Evangelists like you will have plentyfull help ! ❤

The problem with Armenia is now its every man for himself, they learned this from the west and many have lost their souls due to love of money, materialism and selfishness. This is a consequence of turning away from both God, like you said, and having weak bonded communities. Christ was an altruist, and to become like Christ, we should be altruists and have love for one another. Instead we see Armenians lying to one another, stealing from one another, betraying one another… and its at all levels, the public and the government. The turks could never defeat or wipe out the Armenians if the Armenians stick together amd help one another, not just once or twice a year but everyday. But the Armenian ego gets in the way, we need to kill our egos to become selfless.
