Zorats Karer is a megalithic complex located
in southern Armenia in the Syunik province.
More than 200 basalt monoliths up to 3 meters tall
are arranged in a specific pattern across 7 hectares.
Many stones have artificially made circular holes
directed at specific stars.
Scientists believe it was:
