It can be a convoluted riddle trying to piece together an overarching chronology such as this. When you begin studying the legend, the first thing you realize: you find hundreds of years of stories, different authors, differing events and even faces and names change. Did arthur recieve the sword from the stone or from the lady in the lake? Why not both? Let that roll around in your noggin for a while. The context is always changing. Like an ancient dream put to paper, you see what is inside of yourself and so much more. A challenge to see from new perspectives as well.

It can be very contemplative and transformative to research these legends. Especially if you refuse to take them at face value. You must contemplate their many metaphoric mysteries.

I recommend EVERYONE study these legends. After youth, and before old age. They will change your life.

I'm thinking the story is fake. For one: the name Lancelot, and Camelot, are just to close.
Two: A Merlin is a missing stone from the wall to give you a window.

Three: Arthur and his full blooded brother have 2 completely different names???

Conclusion: The story of Arthur was to claim Britain had the stone of destiny. The sword was supposedly pulled out of it.? But the conclusion is just my theory.

Wait so his story starts with his father basically starting a siege against another royal ally all to basically force himself on that royals wife. And when he couldn’t win the battle he turned to “demonic” Celtic druid magic even being a devout Christian. Then letting that mage take the baby resulting from his conquest. That’s a messed up origin story.

Merlin is said to be born from the conception of a human woman and a demon known as a Incubus the male counterpart of the Succubus. though when he was baptized the demonic powers was expelled leaving only the energy he uses as a wizard.
