It can be a convoluted riddle trying to piece together an overarching chronology such as this. When you begin studying the legend, the first thing you realize: you find hundreds of years of stories, different authors, differing events and even faces and names change. Did arthur recieve the sword from the stone or from the lady in the lake? Why not both? Let that roll around in your noggin for a while. The context is always changing. Like an ancient dream put to paper, you see what is inside of yourself and so much more. A challenge to see from new perspectives as well.
It can be very contemplative and transformative to research these legends. Especially if you refuse to take them at face value. You must contemplate their many metaphoric mysteries.
I recommend EVERYONE study these legends. After youth, and before old age. They will change your life.
Arthur was not king of England.. He was king of romans and celtic people in Britany in V or VI century and he was fighting agains Anglo-Saxons (modern English) .. Arthur is Walish, Irish and Scotish legacy

I'm thinking the story is fake. For one: the name Lancelot, and Camelot, are just to close. Two: A Merlin is a missing stone from the wall to give you a window. .. Three: Arthur and his full blooded brother have 2 completely different names??? . Conclusion: The story of Arthur was to claim Britain had the stone of destiny. The sword was supposedly pulled out of it.? But the conclusion is just my theory. . In final, Americans should never claim to be a British Knight. Especially The British king Arthurs court.
Why are you calling Britain by the name Brittany? Why do you call it the Crown of Brittany? Somewhere along the line of your studies you have got it back to front – Britons from Great Britain migrated to Brittany, not the other way around, we were being called Britannia (from Brettaniai), here in Britain, as far back as 320 BC—it wasn't until the 4th century AD that Britons from Cornwall moved to Brittany! I can't get into your histories of Britain, they are so far off the mark.
Wait so his story starts with his father basically starting a siege against another royal ally all to basically force himself on that royals wife. And when he couldn’t win the battle he turned to “demonic” Celtic druid magic even being a devout Christian. Then letting that mage take the baby resulting from his conquest. That’s a messed up origin story.
Merlin is said to be born from the conception of a human woman and a demon known as a Incubus the male counterpart of the Succubus. though when he was baptized the demonic powers was expelled leaving only the energy he uses as a wizard.
it is said that the kings of Britain before the Anglo-Saxons are descendants of a man named Brutus. he is said to be one of the refugees of the sack of Troy who came the isles and formed his kingdom which was explored by Julius Caesar and then conquered by Claudius thus bringing it under Roman rule until 410 AD/CE.
To those that dare mock Merlin because of his faith remember this: a wizard, a sorcerer or anykind of magic user could overthrow a kingdom if he planed things right – especially if the kingdom doesn't have any magic users

Britain and Brittany are two different things

“Nobody shall have the sword! Nobody shall wield Excalibur, BUT MEEEEE!!!!”
Where's season two??
Really
season 2?
Once again: Britain – not Brittany which is in North West France – known once as "Little Britain".
Exquisite legend of king Arthur, king appears to be an honest innocent man
Britany isin france
In Japanese Media He will reincarnate as Zero Saber in Fate Series.
Why do you keep saying 'Britany' when you clearly mean 'Britain'?? Two different places.
This is well done but why does it keep on calling Britain "Britany" (which is in modern day northwest France)???
When will season 2 be out?
This is so good
Gotta give me more plz
Do we have an idea of when we'll have a season 2? 👀

Like all Videos on Arthur things are added that weren't there in any of the original stories and accounts.
Delightful Movie!

Amazing but has some inconsistencies with the manuscript
I hope part 3 will be released
Lol at the way the narrators accent butchers nearly every name place 😂…still a good watch.
I dont really understand the ranking system so can you please explain it to me. For example like vassal and squire etc
I Can't Help but think about Patrick Stewart Yelling "CAVELYARD! CAVELYARD!" when He played LeoDegrance in 1981's Excalibur!
Love this! Thank you!
Man…. I need the next part! 😊
This was great, any chance you'll be making more?
Is there a part 2?
