Hitler should have listened to his friend and wise General on many of the missions Hitler foolishly took on. Russia was his largest mistake. He should have just secured France, Poland and lands he had won to force the Allies to end the war.

There was quite a bit of evidence and certainly testimony that the Malmmede massacre was triggered by a gunshot was triggered by one of the prisoners. This information was suppressed by American officers. There was apparently no evidence either of any order by SS officers to massacre the prisoners.
It's amazing the journeys these people take to become 'leaders' in the NAZI party. Some were just butchers, then they're…still butchers.
Dietrich had been elevated above his military competence. He had never received higher military training, and it showed in the fact that he didn't understand the tactical symbols on military maps and tried to move divisions as if they were squads.
