Awesome
one of the greatest stories ever told, read the iliad chat
Did Achilles truly exists?? I doubt.
They should give adam his own show. He can invite no guests, this way he can talk the whole show w/o taking a breath just to get his opinion across. Drives me nuts
Very great cartoon 😀😃
Achilles used to be a great warrior, till he took an arrow to the hill.
Achilles , Achilles is the great brave warrior he is the armor of god in the trojan war ,, so Achilles belived in Jesus , Achilles said , I believe in Jesus
1 John 10 : 22 – 14
Beloved friend…that's a lie
How are we quantifying greatness here?
To my recollection (currently on pg154 of an Iliad Reread)
Achilleus cries to his mumma over a stolen “prize”, refuses to fight cause he’s upset about it and skips the majority of the fighting at Ilios and only comes out for his revenge (not great behaviour) when he’s been offended again.
Also, considering his invulnerability and relation to gods, is him being a good fighter really that impressive? Is it brave to do something if you have nothing to fear?
Diomedes on the other hand; fights constantly, takes out Trojan hero’s, volunteered to fight Hektor and stabs two gods (truly mental decision) to try and help his side win.
Open for debate!
wait wait wait
Achilles didn't join the trojan horse?
thats idk
Apparently Achilles was betrayed and killed by his own friend after 9 years of friendship… for home
Still he's nothing compared to great Perseus
Phthia is pronounced "Th-ee-Ah", The Ph is more of a really really soft F. It confused me at first but just so everyone knows.
Instead of holding him by the heel, why didn't she throw him into the water and then just scoop him back out?
I wouldn't feel proud doing that to Hector
Brad Pitt immortalized his name by portraying Achilles
6:36 I just love how it shows the King smiling after getting his dead sons body. Sure, getting the body would mean something but SMILING?
"brotherly love" uhuh sureeee, more like sword fighting love iykyk
Hector was the greatest hero in the illiad…though I've got a soft spot for achilles..😊
If you read the the Iliad, you wiil know that Hector is the real hero
