Hannibal Barca was the legendary Carthaginian general, who famously crossed the Alps with elephants to challenge Rome in the Second Punic War. Known for his military genius and innovative tactics, Hannibal remains one of history’s most brilliant military commanders despite his eventual defeat.

A truly tragic figure, Hannibal will always be one of the utmost geniuses of history. Your documentary makes him justice and that is worth emphasising. Thanks.
too much video that has nothing to do with whats being narated
Another "white washing " of history. Painting Hannibal as a European. Typical. He was an African by the way.
Great histories of ancient times Hannibal Barka wins the impossible 💜🌎🌌🏝🖤Thank you for sharing this and narrative love histories 🙏🪶especially of old days greats of military histories sad end through. But even Julius Caesar had a sad end but never lost any wars he fought just a couple of battles Alicia was revenge Germania king attacking Italy when Julius 14yrs or 15yrs old kids roman soildiers, while western hoards wanting to wipe Italy off the face of earth then for say. Those hoards raped and butchered out Italy peoples they went and land gains then finally got stopped and what was left of Italy and peoples safe what was left.
Why admiring Rome then ?
he was a genius. Crossing the Alps with elephants? Still legendary
Hananyah/Baal=Hannibal Carthage translates to “New City”in Hebrew. They were part of the tribes of Israel on their migration to Europe.
pretty sure rome is still there. carthage is in ruins. never sieged rome, never captured rome a complete and utter failure, the true hero is Publius Scipio, the winner of the 2nd punic wars and first roman general to be named after the lands he conquered
Scipio Africanus
Hannibal Barca was a pure black African.
56:31 Bithynia is not Armenia.
Love this channel but had to point out this oversight.
Love when a nepo baby is actually competent
"They have many soldiers, but not one of them is named Gisco"
The weight of an empire on its shoulders 2:00
First of all Hannibal was black african not European..stop stealing black heritage!
Thank you
Didn’t he build the pyramids too? 😂 you know you’re gonna get a bunch of black people saying he was black. It’s sad when you’re grasping for the guy who lost because there is no glorious history like the Romans
A great warrior who stood up to Rome & inevitably made Rome the Empire it eventually became. Mind boggles at his achievements & what could’ve been!!!
Just found this channel this is my 5th video….already hooked
Will probably name my son after this guy.
I have a slight obsession with Hannibal. I imagine he chose not to attack Rome immediately after Cannae because he figured Rome's formidable defenses would stall him enough to give southern Italy a chance to attack from behind. I actually hold Hannibal as the greatest military figure of all history. Alexander was good, but feats like the Alpinine and marsh crossings inspire me.
Excellent otherwise, but too few maps of the situation and the campaigns. Also too few battle diagrams.
“Always remember Son. You. Are. VENGEANCE!

Hannibal's tactics were ahead of his time, too bad his worst enemy wasn't Rome but the Carthaginian senate itself.
Rome never quit
Ancient Roman history is truly captivating and fascinating, with every story offering exciting discoveries
My man Hannibal was literally willing to sacrifice his eye to beat Rome.
Love motivation video
This is a bot.
The complete lack of support in terms of man power and resources from Carthage to Hannibal is the reason he was eventually beaten. Also crazy how many legions Rome could raise in such a short period of time, which is how they won
Please stop doing thumbnails with somebody glowering under downturned brows.
Hannibal was of African descent
Total garbage 🤣
make a video on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj & Aurangjeb As well
Tunisia! WOOOO! ❤
Great insight
I was so waiting for this one, thanks guys!
One of the most brilliant tacticians to ever grace the battlefield.
To let everybody know Hannibal was black…….. There is DNA evidence support the fact that the whole region was as well sham to see the historical whitewashing what of the actual history was
Greatest military commander of all time, he wasn't defeated at Zama, Carthage was
Not a blk dude by the way!
Finally, an accurate depiction of Hannibal. Not some dindu
