When I heard that you were doing Anne Marie Fahey I screamed out loud (while alone in my car). Then immediately texted the friends 🙂 Thanks for telling her story. Yes, every Delawarean knows this story and someone associated with these families and could not believe all the craziness around it. Amazing! And for me, I think it was Anne Marie and OJ that got me hooked on true crime.
I love any Anne Rule mention. This reminded me of a text exchange I had recently with my MIL. She was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, outside of the Seattle area, so I asked her about what it was like living there during the Bundy and Green River Killer cases. She said that she knew many of the victims and had attended school with them. She said it was such a tragedy, and that she didn't know they were in sex work at the time. Her sister worked with Gary Ridgeway at Kenworth, and during the time my MIL worked down the same road. She also dropped the amazing bomb that she grew up with Anne Rule's daughter, Leslie Rule. They played with troll dolls, and one time Anne Rule told my MIL her future (Anne Rule was psychic too!??!). Growing up, I read every Anne Rule book I could find, and just fangirled out over my MIL and her Anne Rule connection.
The army jacket girl storming the stage. Good times.
Let the I Said No Gifts backyard episodes be shared here! It’s a silly rule!
i had bought two other ann rule books that you guys have talked about: the stranger beside me of course and every breath you take. then i picked this one up on a whim when i found it at a secondhand book sale and i haven't actually read any of them yet, but i was excited to see you covered this one, so once i read each of these books i can come back to the corresponding episodes
Hey exactly right media, are the minisodes available on YouTube and I can’t see them? I’m switching from Spotify to YouTube and missing the minis! Pls lemme know ❤
Thanks, now I'm adding Armenia to the countries I would like to visit.
This is the first YouTube I’ve watched of you guys. I’ve loved your podcast for so long. I’m a creature of habit and felt like it would be weird to watch instead of listen, but here I am lol. You guys are so beautiful. You look pretty in pictures too, but it’s m different seeing a video ❤
And that man from Delaware… Joseph Robinette Biden.. Oh wait its someone else
Lol blood and milk remover 😂
Why am I in tears from Shavarsh's amazing story?? Wow, what an absolute legend.
The community of Baton Rouge La. Gangstalked and murdered my elderly mother as well as my 10 yr old niece in cold blood. They have been going after unsuspecting innocent individuals and keeping it a secret. They are trying to cover it as an accident but it was no accident. These sick people stalked my sister and her daughter for a little over 2 years before my mother and niece were murdered. They need to be brought to justice. We are spreading this message everywhere because these monsters need to be exposed and brought to the light for their actions. Baton Rouge is a sick town and they intentionally took my family's lives.
I don’t mean to be that wlw fan, but HOLY GODDAMN KAREN, you are bringing it in this episode…like, I might have to audio-only enjoy this episode because I’m suuuuuuuuper distracted by the hottness. 😅 (You’re amazing too Georgia, istg. But it’s that tan, that t-shirt, that necklace, that hair, those arms, etc.) Alright, I’ll take my ogling back to more noble pursuits. 😂
Karen‘s arms! 😍 🔥
THANK YOU for telling the story of Shavarsh Karapetyan. Truly remarkable human being who doesn't get enough credit, IMO. Thank you thank you!!!! (EDIT – Shavarsh was actually accredited with saving a bus full of people from going over a cliff, before the trolley incident. He's a TRUE hero!!)
I’m gonna see yall tonight in Austin! I’m so glad u are doing a story about Yerevan, Armenia 🇦🇲!!! I went there last summer and the people are the kindest, so beautiful, and the beauty of their country is breathtaking! The savagery that they suffered during the genocide and under Russian rule can still be seen! It’s not a country that has been Americanized! Can’t say enough about this amazing place!
"Am considered good looking" Carl Schrek.
Coercive control is the term you were looking for, Georgia. Mandy and Liz over at True Sunlight are doing a good job on this issue.
39:21 Karen’s story begins
7:40 Georgia’s story begins
Cousin of spam, that’s a fun way to describe it! 😂 it’s scraps of pig mixed with like cornmeal. Very popular breakfast meat around here.
Also everyone from DE knows this story and/or someone from it. May she rest in paradise!
It’s why I’m covered in tattoos. I’m disabled and in a wheelchair because of brain cancer. I had no control over that but I do have control over getting tattoos
Omg I’m getting home as quickly as I possibly can to watch this😊
Yes! And I'm on a roadtrip!!🎉
