On my final day in Yerevan, Armenia, I wanted to make it unforgettable. I started with an incredible experience at one of the city’s most unique restaurants, where I tried authentic traditional Armenian food that you won’t find anywhere else in the world. Then, I made my way to the Armenian Genocide Memorial, a powerful place of remembrance that tells the story of a tragedy most people have never even heard about. To end the day, I connected with a local Armenian woman, who gave me insight into everyday life and the vibrant social culture of Armenia.
This video is more than just a travel vlog. It’s a look at Armenia’s food, history, resilience, and people. From unforgettable flavors to heartbreaking history to the warmth of locals, my last day in Yerevan showed me why this country is so special.
If you’re planning to visit Armenia, or you simply want to learn more about its past and present, this is a journey you don’t want to miss.
Yerevan, Armenia’s capital, is marked by grand Soviet-era architecture. The Matenadaran library, housing thousands of ancient Greek and Armenian manuscripts, dominates its main avenue. Republic Square is the city’s core, with musical water fountains and colonnaded government buildings. The 1920s History Museum of Armenia on the square’s eastern side contains archaeological objects like a circa-3500-B.C. leather shoe.

oh that sucks that the stairs were not finished, if you have made it all the way the top it is sooooooo beautiful that is my neighborhood that's where i used to live called Manument. If you had gone all the way the top on the right side, there is the Victory Park sooooo beautiful with a lot of carusels, cafes, restaurants.

I am black too and have been to almost 70 countries, I find it a novelty when people stare at me and they will start wanting to talk with Me. I love it ❤
Im hearing Bob Marley in the background ❤
Loving the Kardashian’s cousin who likes black men. They are extremely friendly people. ❤ People have preconceptions of this part of the world

Beautiful city great content
Very nice and interesting video with honest emotions. Armenia's always glad to good people kind at heart.
There are much more beautiful and historical places in Armenia you should visit for sure. Thanks for the video🌞🌞🌞
Yes, people stare at you, because you are black and different. But I would definitely say that it's more a curiosity stare rather than racism. Anyone you approach will be friendly and happy to make friends with you. There is no feeling of racism or prejudice towards black people like you would expect in the US. You are simply something people don't see often, so they want to learn more than judge you
I am happy you are in Armenia and enjoying your time there. In Yerevan, you can visit the Hrazdan River, the nature is beautiful and there are many restaurants. Go in the evening. Life starts after work. When I go to Armenia, I also like to go into nature near the rivers, lakes, and waterfalls. I would visit Garni and the Macrame restaurant, which has a beautiful view. Then Garni Gorges. Stone Symphony in Garni. Then I would visit Stonehenge in Sisian, Jermuk, Tatev, I would also go to Lake Sevan and visit the church on the hill, From top the view is beautiful and visit a restaurant near the lake. One of them is At Semo( Semoyi mot) Collete restaurant near the lake. Stay at Harsnaqar hotel. It is a nice hotel. I would go to Dilijan, Parz Lake, Haghartsin, Kirovakan, and Jermuk to enjoy the waterfalls and mineral waters.
Great choice of songs 👍👍👍❤💙🧡
Thank you, God Bless you too
they look at you, not because you're different, but because you're interest to this country, who suffered for 35 years of war, without any support. and this people is appreciated for any visitors, who like to learn about Armenian culture?
