Culture, coffee, and Armenian speed dating?
Urartu Coffee joins Menu AM to share the story behind a coffee shop built around Armenian coffee, conversation, culture, and community.
Youra Ghazalian talks about bringing Armenian coffee onto the menu, creating Armenian speed dating events for young people, learning people’s stories through conversation, and building a space where Armenians can meet, connect, and feel closer to home.

I met your father several times Yura back in the early 2000’s when both of us were younger men and Urartu Coffee was relatively new to the area. He was always very courteous and smiling behind the counter working alongside your mom.
I recently heard of his passing from your mom while visiting Urartu, I was shocked to say the least. He was a hard working dedicated humble family man, may he rest in peace. ✝️🇦🇲
