Gold is hovering around $4,450—not just a bull market, but a symptom of a dawning realization that decades of money printing have hollowed out the dollar’s value. People are waking up, stacking “junk silver” (pre-1965 coins) and physical metal as a form of preparation.
“My number one concern about 2026 is a second wave of inflation,” says Jeffrey Tucker, Founder, Author, and President of the Brownstone Institute. In a conversation with Daniela Cambone, Tucker warns that inflation could intensify as the U.S. approaches the 2026 midterm elections, adding pressure to the housing market and increasing economic uncertainty. “I would not be at all surprised to see inflation of 3% or higher,” he says.
Tucker also criticizes the idea of cutting interest rates at this stage, calling it “the worst possible time” and “a disastrous idea.” He cautions that current policies risk repeating past mistakes: “My concern has been that we’re going to repeat the experience of the 1970s.” He concludes that the deeper issue is a loss of trust in the system: “This would not be happening if people had confidence in the fiat money system — and they just don’t.”

Is there any company that will assist in appealing fraudulent property appraisals? I need this in KCKS. It does not have to be an atty…I know of one but they do not do but aboyt 5 states…and Kansas is not one on their list.
Please advise. One problem is a overvaluation…and its 25 to 30,000 increases per year…for the last 5 years or better. Its so excessive its ridiculous…per Redfin…almost 150,000 overvalued as of 2024.

Just a couple years ago a Lasagne I buy in the grocery store was $4.99 today $9.99, Fructis hair gel was 4.99 now 8.99 or 9.99 depending on the store. I see Old Spice deodorant as much as $11.99. OMG! I dream of 2-3% inflation. WTF?
