Hail Artemis!
Good thing Odysseus wasn't the supreme leader of the expedition
This was a very emotional recounting of the story. This is why this and Agamemnon and Orestes mean more to me than the Trojan War itself. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Thanks for this touching video.
The adventures in olden Greek times beautiful but intriguing
Why does the woman in the thumbnail look like that meme of guy trying to hold in his laugh?
In other versions of the story, the goddess of the hunt Artemis took pity and showed Mercy to Iphigenia and she switched her body out at the last second with a Fawn
I also would like to add there was a really good movie that came out about this particular episode in the 1970s called (Iphigenia) it's really good
Weird.
Go all the way back to Tantalus. Tantalus, the son of Zeus and the maiden Pluto, enjoyed cordial relations with the gods until he decided to slay his son Pelops and feed him to the gods.
