As an Israeli, I was very interested in hearing Davis' response, and it saddens me to hear that is arguments are hanging by a hinge. 1. Natural gas – will be gone in 15 yrs, esp. because the Trump administration strong-armed Israel into exporting its gas. 2. Friendly place for Christians – less and less so. 3. Democracy – less and less so. 4. Academic excellence, nobel prize winners – the Govt. is attacking and belittling them. The bottom line is that the US is getting things back from supporting what Israel USED TO BE, and if Israel doesn't get its act together and fast, then Carlson will be right.

It seems like everyone is talking past one another. VDH is not addressing the issues that People (many Jewish) have with Israel. No one thinks the countries dominated by Islam are going to be our best friends. The issue is that the the US puts the interests of Israel above those of the USA at times. The fact that the pro and anti Israel factions refuse to have frank and open conversations face to face is not a good thing. How can we sort this out when no one is willing to talk to one another?
