Bybit doesn't accept U.S.A customers. Probably something to do with shorting crypto. (Spot). Binance or Kraken I think they leverage the same way.

Bybit is not officially available in the United States due to regulatory and compliance measures. As of December 2025, it is listed as a restricted jurisdiction in their Terms of Service.
Key Details for US Users:
Restriction: Users accessing the platform from the US may have their accounts locked or frozen if detected.
Workarounds: Some users attempt to access the platform using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to bypass geo-restrictions, with services like NordVPN or PureVPN frequently mentioned.
Risks: Using a VPN to bypass these restrictions violates the terms of service and risks losing access to funds.
Taxation: If US users do manage to trade, Bybit gains and income are still considered taxable transactions by the IRS.
