Thanks for watching!
On this channel, you’ll find long-form video essays about gaming’s biggest stories from studio collapses and corporate greed to the creative risks that still push the medium forward. I break down industry trends, publisher decisions, and the economics behind how games are made, marketed, and sold.
Whether it’s GTA 6, Elden Ring, Baldur’s Gate 3, Path of Exile 2, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Pokémon, or the next doomed live-service experiment, I cover how the industry’s biggest names keep shaping and breaking the games we play.
From deep dive analysis on publishers like EA, Bungie, Blizzard, Activision, Ubisoft, Sony, and Microsoft to commentary on indie hits like Palworld and Expedition 33, every video cuts through the marketing to get to what actually matters: how this industry works, who it’s failing, and why players deserve better.

Legendary is a hawg cranker! 🫡
I was so excited for the division had so much potential zombie apocalypse in New York yes please oh no you fight bullet sponge humans 😂haven’t look or played a Ubi soft game since they missed the ball on the one
There's too much feminism there. Feminists hate males, they shouldn't be working on games that they want men to buy
India is the sign that a company really doesnt care.
I have zero sympathy for anyone who still works in that shithole. You have mouths to feed, who gives af? Sell cookies, drive a cab, make an honest living.
Get Woke Go Broke
They are just barely surviving off siege and that's a shit show itself
Bro has never heard of corporate SWE, and also looks like he never had a job either – this is how it is in the real world IT Product. It sucks, people have been trying to fix ts for decades
The whole layering management thing that ubisoft is doing didn't CD project red have that same issue then shrunk everything down to boost productivity without all the bloat?
There is only one game company that has cracked the code or come the closest to it.
That is Digital Extremes with warframe and their second game Soulframe
By no means is it perfect as there are flaws that they are working on but compared to the rest of what is on offers they are basically the best you have.
And i believe that anyone that disagrees with me, doesn't understand the vision and history of digital extremes and Warframe or hasn't given the game the time and effort it deserves
I will be comfortable replaying far cry 3,4,5 without activation servers and launchers existing can't get FC 5 and 6 keys to work in Linux anyways
I wish people mentioned Mario + Rabbids when talking about good Ubisoft games. 💔
Getting rid of levels of management goes against everything managers teach managerlings in management school.
"Everything that goes wrong is the fault of the person beneath you."
Acknowledging that they made mistakes is impossible because accountability would cost them their job and risk THEIR manager's job. If a manager can't hire the right person for the job, it makes them look bad. So they add more layers of accountability to buffer them from making decisions.
When it goes right, they clap their own backs. When it goes wrong, it's the next guy down the line who fucked up.
Managers, or at least this modern zero-accountability method of management, is the cancer in EVERY industry. It's why smaller teams work: when your ass is on the line for every decision you make, you put a LOT more effort into making the right decision.
I never got why it costs money to make games. You just need a computer right? I mean you need food and electricity to keep you and it running but thats it..
How is the CEO the CEO?!
Big companies are a scam most of the times. Very rarely do you have a big company, where things are going smooth.
Most of the time they expect an underwhelming number of people to do massive overwhelming tasks and juggle a second or a third project inbetween. Hiring unskilled or lying foreigners from the Middle East in hopes of paying them less and getting more is a tactic employed not just in the gaming industry.
My views are for people to start working regular 9 to 5s to pay the bills and work on their own projects and portfolios in the off time. Then later on create a small studio or do freelance. Adhoc games with Distpatch is great, until it becomes a massive company. The main issue is management of so many people. Its an overwhelming task and there is no training for it. Successful companies should stay small, in order to be more manuevarable, when you become a massive giant you become sluggish and cannot adapt to current trends, demand and requirements.
AC Unity is actually a pretty great game. It just needed 6-12 months more dev time. Pushing that game out the door was the beginning of their downfall.

“wHy haVeN’t yOu gUyS bOugHt mOrE oF tHeSe MeTaL pOstErs yEt” PROBABLY BECAUSE THEYRE WAY YOO EXPENSIVE FFS
Never giving ubisoft another cent or second after the way they destroyed xdefiant.
Outsourcing to India? The tech industry tried that in the early 2000s. It wasn't nearly as efficient or beneficial. Much of that code never saw the light of day.
The gaming industry will see it as well.. Eventually.
They're lying again, the dev work for Prince of persia was already shifted from India to Canada studios years back. This was a public announcement. I don't know why these people keep spewing the same lies.
if you can't see what's going on here you have blinkers on it's nothing to do with games anymore with Ubisoft it's about the higher ups getting those bonuses and they will ride the company right into oblivion as long as they get paid. The higher ups are the problem but they are self policing themselves so it will never change.
This is just a simple scam to get the ip and leave all the investors in the dust. follow the money. no way a CEO is this stupid.
I can NOT wait for ubisoft to actually go bankrupt, there's so many studios that could bring their IP's back to life
they want fortnight money
RIP Ubisoft. I will never forget the good games you created.
Ubisoft needs a complete rework, from the directory to the lowest level of administration. Ubisoft definitive edition 2k26
Hey hey hey, Skull and Bones was an amazing game for $2.99!😄
I dont believe it is mismanagment, i think it is intentional.
"And when everyone is a manager, hmhmhmhehehahaha…. NO ONE will be."
You do know that Far Cry 3 is not the only good game Ubisoft made, right? I don't get why every gaming youtuber always shows Vaas when talking about Ubisoft games. And Vaas was not the only good thing about Far Cry 3. How has Vaas become such youtube clickbait, I'll never understand.
I’m starting to think they’re doing this intentionally. Absolute buffoons.
😂 Ubisoft has the burocratic size of a major international Bank Corporation
Hope they sell ips so I can have a better company take over the division name
I did not enjoy how bad ubisoft are doing but I enjoyed the video
This kind of toxic leadership is rampant in all areas of corporate now. I was laid-off last year and my world-famous consumer goods employer basically disappeared and turned into a sub-brand of a sister company in a different city because the leadership thought they knew better. From ignoring consumer insight to ignoring employees who are desperate for a change and have the answers, the parallels are uncanny.
Watch dogs was the last straw for ubislop
