Read the Oxford English Dictionary on the definition of religiosity. Its difficult to measure degrees of faith. One might well be correct to say the religiosity is alive and well in America.

I look around and I see all the pain suffering in this world and I think to myself how can there be some kind of benevolent God that cares for everyone?….. Why would he make so many suffer so many innocents suffer if he was benevolent and even the smallest of ways? If there is a God he appears to be cruel and uncaring. I believe ashes to ashes we come from the Earth and we go back to it soul and all.
The Bible is God’s word of Truth, it explains all things including what happens to us when we die and the wonderful hope for the future for us all including those who have died. People can learn the Truth if only they really read the Bible from God’s perspective.

It’s interesting that in the Book of Daniel Chapter 7, the Fourth Beast, which can be interpreted as both an individual AND a paradigm, is described as being unlike any “beast” that came before it. This is the first time in human history where a new paradigm is rising without a transcendent character. And it is rising primarily from the Post Christian new-pagan West and spreading around the world. The one wild card, however, is, at the same time we are seeing the rise of Islam. Strange days, indeed.
What happens after death?
Absolutely nothing. No thoughts; no dreams; no memories; no self awareness; no sense of time passage. Eternal non-existence.

If you are a rational person and you want to be guided by only reason and evidence, then you must reject all claims that are supported only by faith.
Faith must exclude reason and evidence.
