Tether has been buying gold and bitcoin with their profits- completely separate from the requirements to back each USDT dollar for dollar with short term treasuries and cash. They’ve been making massive amounts of money on their huge holdings of short-term treasuries.

It sounds like you are saying their model has changed and they are literally backing USDT, in part, with bitcoin and gold???? – say it isn’t so
