Shri Thanedar, D-Mich., announced Wednesday his intention to file articles of impeachment against Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, for “Murder and Conspiracy to Murder and Recklessness and Unlawful Mishandling of Classified Information.” The first charge is in connection with a Sept. 2 military strike on a boat believed to be carrying drugs to the U.S.

You are the only one I could think of that I could direct my comment to. I see it was said that working Americans will be receiving the 2,000 dollar refunds. Wow I am 73 I started working at 10 cleaning houses baby sitting waitressing cleaning college dorms cleaning city busses getting them ready to paint dish washing at a steak house lots of dishes salad girl this is all before I was 18. Worked 1 year fast food then got hired at 3 different factories 2 of them I was in offices then losing my job through divine intervention got hired at Chrysler and got 14 and a half years working at there. Eight years from 10 to 18 then 46 and a half years after high school. I am a 5 foot tall woman who started at Chrysler at 50 years old. I am not complaining I just feel that us retirees who worked all our lives should be included in a pay out we are on fixed incomes my husband is 74 and has a small job I help too but we retirees have our own war wounds. My back is in sad shape my husband has a heart condition again we worked hard and this is not me complaining for the work we did I am proud for all the work we did in our lives. I only say all this because I think we earned to be included too I feel retirees can really use that boost too.
