It seems like everyone is talking past one another. VDH is not addressing the issues that People (many Jewish) have with Israel. No one thinks the countries dominated by Islam are going to be our best friends. The issue is that the the US puts the interests of Israel above those of the USA at times. The fact that the pro and anti Israel factions refuse to have frank and open conversations face to face is not a good thing. How can we sort this out when no one is willing to talk to one another? I think the problem I have with any of these arguments from either side is that they all seem to miss that the reasons our leaders have wanted to be in the middle eastern theater for decades has not been for the same reasons that “we” are debating now. Until that is addressed, I can’t trust that we are in any area for a noble reason.
