Впервые эта мелодия была зафиксирована в 1890-ом году, когда народный танец Узундара был обработан для фортепиано армянским композитором Никогайосом Тиграняном. А по поводу этимологии. Слово узундара имеет персидскую этимологию, но не азербайджанскую, а как всем известно: персы и Армене творили очень длительное время бок о бок и на двух языках
