He was past the sell by date. Glad Greg is in charge. Warren still being driven to office however. He can't let go. Needs to visit his kids.
22:34 it's why A shares are green on day's when B's are red. It's two different animals. When A shares are sold there's always buy orders in place to buy those shares. There's never a day where demand for A's doesn't outnumber the supply available. When B's backup, and sometimes they do that's when Berkshire picks them up. Getting a discount of 30% created such a demand for B's there really wasn't a need to repurchase because there were Buyer's ready and willing to snap them up. Warren Buffett could play games and artificially inflate both A's and B's any day he wanted too but he has ZERO need to do so. He's leaving a lot of meat on the bone for the next generation to continue the growth and value of Berkshire stock that'll keep them managing with the same style of natural real added value from operations. He absolutely doesn't want to force any actions of the next chairman(s) to satisfy stockholders desires. Could Berkshire be a Trillion Dollar company today? Probably, but it'd take actions he really doesn't want or have to take.
Anything can happen but Mr.Buffett is converting his Class A shares into B's before donating. His and Mr. Munger's family along with other Board Members with have majority stakes for at least 40 more year's of voting majorities unless something happens where more than 50% of B share owners turn on the leadership. I don't think that will happen.

Understand the economics of the business, price it at your mind and when market sells below your valuation. Buy as many as you can. Opportunity comes only at the very rare occasion.
The best answer I heard this year was his response to someone who asked why he sat on a pile of cash for two years from 2020 to 2022 rather than put it in an S&P tracker as he advises others to do, and that if he had done he'd be looking at a handsome profit.
His answer was that he likes to have a lot of cash for when opportunities arrive, when it 'rains gold'… And here we are now with the market dropping like a stone and I'm sure Mr Buffett will see lots of golden opportunities…
