“I’m super bullish on gold. We’ll see gold continue to climb as countries continue to recycle their surpluses into gold,” says Mark Moss, host of The Mark Moss show and chief visionary officer of Matador. In our 2025 Outlook series, Moss share his insights on the future of gold, bitcoin, and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). When it comes to bitcoin, Moss sees unparalleled potential as a store of value, forecasting exponential growth over the coming decades. He predicts bitcoin could reach $1 million by 2030, $14 million by 2040, and an astonishing $40 million by 2050. He also raises concerns about CBDCs, warning that the U.S. stablecoin represents a form of “programmable” money, which could lead to greater governmental control.
